Poughkeepsie

Housing Options

Poughkeepsie offers a diverse range of housing options from modest to luxury in both rental and resale.  Within the City of Poughkeepsie, there are neighborhoods reminiscent of towns like Larchmont, New York in Westchester County with their street lamp lined sidewalks and historic homes.

As one example, see the video below for what had been the highest sale in the City of Poughkeepsie for over 15 years as of December 2020.  The $700,000 sale would cost a tad more in Larchmont!   Resales have increased in Poughkeepsie since 2020 with high end homes now reaching the million dollar range.  See video at top for more on that.  Below take a tour of the beautiful 1930’s manor home referenced above located at 7 St. John’s Parkway.

While in the middle of the city with easy access to fine dining and entertainment, the property and home translate to exhale with birds singing, privacy within their beautifully landscaped property and inground pool.

See video below for a home tour of this historic 1930 manor home.
